1. Information We Do NOT Collect

VoiceFlow does not collect or store:

• Your voice recordings
• Transcribed text content
• Personal information
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Device identifiers

2. Local Data Storage

VoiceFlow stores the following data locally on your device:

• API Keys: Stored securely in macOS Keychain, encrypted by the operating system
• Transcription History: Stored in a local SQLite database on your Mac
• App Settings: Stored in local UserDefaults
• Custom Vocabulary: Stored locally for improved recognition

All local data can be deleted by removing the app and its associated data.

3. Third-Party Services

VoiceFlow connects to third-party services using API keys that you provide:

• Deepgram: For speech-to-text transcription. Please review Deepgram's Privacy Policy.
• OpenRouter: For AI text processing. Please review OpenRouter's Privacy Policy.

We do not have access to your API keys or any data you send to these services.

4. Microphone Access

VoiceFlow requires microphone access to record your voice. Audio is:

• Captured only when you actively hold the recording key
• Processed in real-time and immediately discarded
• Never stored on your device or our servers
• Sent directly to your configured speech-to-text service

5. Network Communications

VoiceFlow makes network requests only to:

• Send audio data to Deepgram for transcription
• Send text to OpenRouter for AI processing (if enabled)

All communications use HTTPS encryption.

6. Children's Privacy

VoiceFlow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.

8. Your Rights

Since VoiceFlow does not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete from our systems. You have full control over all data stored locally on your device.
